Reliable, hard working veterinarian seeks the same

Cara Wright | Freckled PhotosBOOKED: Indefinitely. But will have some flexibility for work in the winter- please contact me if interested.

I am now certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association after completing the Options for Animals course in the UK.

Me: Outgoing, experienced, conscientious equine veterinarian looking to help overextended colleagues by offering relief work.

You: Equine practitioner seeking time off for CE, vacation, or maternity. Maybe every spring or show season you toy with hiring an associate but can’t justify it for the whole year.

If you have been struggling with the logistics of getting practice coverage, I am your solution. As a clear, effective communicator, I work well with clients and co-workers. My varied experiences enable me to handle any caseload and I am comfortable and capable in emergency situations. I am flexible to the needs of your clientele and practice culture. Oh, I am also great at collecting payments and not missing charges. My goal is to exceed your expectations in keeping your practice flowing while you are gone.

I work as an independent contractor, which means you do not have to worry about taxes or insurance, as I carry my own medical and professional liability.

My equine interests include geriatrics, ophthalmology, sports medicine, wound care, and theriogenology.

Personally, I enjoy training for and competing in triathlon, eating my way around the world, and overnight running relay races. I serve as an assistant coach for the Vicenza Mako Sharks swim team, and I have recently begun blogging about food, fitness, and travel for FitBottomedGirls.com. Please contact me so we can work together on creating a coverage solution for you!
